I have a 150 show tank non reef ready with a hangon overflow box that has been up and running for a few years. I also have a 120 oceanic show tank that is reef ready with two corner overflow boxes that I have posted for sale on this websight. Both tanks are 48 in wide. What I need to know is it worth it for me to break down the 150 non reef ready tank for the 120 reef ready tank. Here are some pics of tanks the black cabinet is the 150, and the oak cabinet is the 120.

I love the dimensions of that 120; you will get more front to back room and better light usage with it being only 24 inches high, plus it is reef ready. You can easily make up for the loss in gallonage with the sump and possible refugium added underneath the tank. A properly setup reef ready tank is also less likely to flood your house than an over flow box that can loose siphon

re on tank

Thanks Russ, and also thanks to all the other MR members that applied to the post. I also like the 120 better then the 150 so I think I am going to setup the 120 in the next few weeks.
