I need some help to idea a crab, a small crab . Its very pronounced but to small to take a picture.
Back story. Checking my frags and noticed a perfect round hole in a enchino frag. Starting looking at it and poked it with the edge of a tweezers and the flesh started to move. I just about crap my pants, for real. Out of the hole I see this tiny little crab like thing start crawling out of the hole.
Description while vague, I hope it helps.
Body style. Bulbous about the size of an adult tick.
4 legs on each side
Two main claws that come to a point (not good)
Reddish front with brownish stripes running from the back up
Weird little crab.
Wondering what it really is other just a generic crab
I know its damn near impossible to ID something with out pics but if anyone can throw out names ill look them up.
I thought it could be a Platypodiella spectabilis or in the family of, but nothing is coming up that?s close to what it looks like now.
Maybe I have a juvenile, I really don?t know. All I do know is it has been eating my enchino.
