Need Help with Finger Leather Coral

I am hoping someone can give me some advice on what I should do with my leather. After the power outage and being without power for around 100 hours my leather went for the worst. The base looks like very discolored, wrinkled and the the majority of the fingers rotting away. Although a few fingers still look like the have healthy polyps. I am wondering should I frag the fingers from the leather to ensure its survival or its to late for anything?
