I was getting rid of my fuge sand,I dumped all the water and sandbed was a rock..Since I started dosing I had to use a kinda big amount for my tank 45ml each on 55 total volume of water to keep cal 450 and alk 10dkh..Since I removed the sand should i dose less since the sand was eating up the cal and alk.I test with salifert up to date kits.I removed the sand to help with phos ,at least I was right I had a feeling the sand bed was not doing what it was suposed to.I changed 15 gal by removing the fuge sand and water ..should I do a 5 gal change in a few days to let the tank get used to a bb fuge? Should I dose the same amount and see if cal and alk rise?or will the tank consume the same I have 60/40 lps sps thanks.

Stop dosing and see what your before / after is. Reset your ml based on the usage. Or keep dosing, measure the before and after and if its rising scale back accordingly.

Dont think you need to get used to BB but warer changes rarely hurt.

Just keep testing everyday to see the levels and dose accordingly?
