dont use old water.. they are changing water for a reason, start fresh and if your wanting to help excellerate the process i suggest using special blend and nite-out 2

I just did a water change yesterday on both tanks but threw out the old filter floss and pads. Too bad I didn't see this post sooner

+2 on Dr. Tim's. But you have to add fish immediately per the instructions. The nitrifying bacteria on the bottle need fish poop.

Just made too much water. Fresh salt Waterford a frag tank addition I just set up. Around 10-15 gallons. If you have the buckets I wouldn't mind giving it to you. I'm in Richmond hill 11418
