Just got this guy today from Premium Aquatics here in Indy. $20, about the size of a tennis ball, polyped out in the bag all the way home. :D :D :D

Nice John :D BTW, that's a Pocillopora.

When my frags grow out, I can help you stock your tank with nice SPS :D

Schweet. They had it umarked as '2nd grade acro'. I guess it had been in the back of one of their tanks and started to bleach out a bit. Looked great to me, and for $20 I'm not going to complain! ;-) I'm not up on my sps species, but that's my goal with this tank, so I'd better start learning.

I was really bummed with this tank at first...got it set up and everything looked spectacular, so got two little sps frags from the LFS. They looked really good, then one day the acro literally blew its flesh in the space of a few hours. I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on, until I saw one of the big electric blue hermits (a holdover from when the tank was set up in the 130) ripping at the acro like it was a christmas present. He quickly went to the sump with his two buddies, and now everything is happy and polyping out again. :D

Odd thing is that the couple colonies of mushrooms I've got in there are pretty shriveled and don't look too hot. Iodine deficiency maybe?? Ca levels are around 410-420, but should be coming up more with B-Ionic.
