Can I still use this Brand new bulb?

That bulb looks used to me IMO. Notice the powdery, white color on both sides away from the center. This pic is a brand new xm 250. Notice how clear the middle section of the bulb is. The bulb will prob work ok, But I would question if it is new or someone put a used bulb in a new box.

Id put a little dab of silicone over it to keep any condensation out. I'd use it.
Then again, Id take a sawzall to your brand new cherry cabinet to make it fit. 8O

When I used DE I ran bulbs that way, no problems. Bulbs getting that way (or breaking completely during installation) is one of the reasons I moved to SE bulbs.

I bought a new metal halide off the internet, actually i bought 6 of them but 1 was cracked, can this be used?
