I doubt this applies for Saltwater. They put this and than have exceptions..

Livestock from Petco is cheap but never do so well.

It's weird, they did say inverts and live rock, and all aquatic life (hopefully that includes marine fish lol) and as far as I no petco doesn't carry many freshwater inverts.
Than again this is their online policy, not many people I know order live fish from petco online. If they implement this in store, than I might be interested in going in there, assuming they improve conditions and quality so they don't loose money however I doubt this will ever become an in store policy

my Petco has turned itself around - i am very surprised!
They hired a "saltwater specialist" and installed a frag tank.

I agree (or at least I used to) - I used to feel the same way. But my Petco seems to be trying to change.

just called out of curiosity and petco recently "upgraded" their guarantee. maybe they're turning a new leaf from all the reef forum bashers. :smash:

The petco near my job added a pretty nice frag tank as well. I still wouldn't buy any fish from them since it is still ICH infected. The prices for their corals are out the water as well. They better bring them down especially since you don't know the health of their products. It'll sell to unsuspecting buyers though.
