ok.. so i dose 2 part to get to desired ca and alk lvls...

I've just added a calk reactor that desolves about 1 cup / week into my tank inline with my osmolator.... so.. .now my alk is at 4.5meq/l!

How do I get it back down? Don't tell me im going to have to inject co2 somehow...

what do I do? I'm trying to get it down just under 3meq/l

Well I wouldn't want it bouncing around if I was you. I would do W/C to get it to the desired level. I dont really do meg/l but think 1 meg/l is 2.8 dkh so you are around 12.6 dKH which is pretty high but if its gradually worked there dropping it back down right away could stress your corals more. A W/C with correct ALK levels and stop the 2 part all together untill Alk falls in line is alls I would do.
