Just ordered a few things. Kind of silly to post about it, but oh well.

Euroreef CS250 skimmer
sunlight supply ROIII 250 watt DE pendant
250 watt reeflux 10kk bulb

Hopefully I will get to start on the stand sometime soon, but that depends on how my daughter is dooing.

I like dealing with preimium aquatics. It seams euroreef is discontinuing the CS line and is replacing it with the RS line. Slightly different construction, but same actual size and pump as the CS. They are quite a bit cheeper. PA called me to let me know. With the cost saving I was able to order my ballast, coravue 250 watt e-ballast, which is not an item they stock, but the got it for me any way.

These guys are great.

BTW. My girl is doing fine after her Dr. vist. Check the sump for details.

With the money I saved on the skimmer I got one of these. Probably could have DIYed it but I shy away from electrical stuff.

I really need to get this tank going. I am starting to miss the stink of corals on my fingers.

You know, I was just having an empty feeling yesterday, too.

I miss my big fish-only tank. I think I want a 125 with angels, butterflies and tangs.

Peace,

Chip

I have been completley without a working tank for a year now and it is starting to get to me. I've had to constently put off getting started because of work. I have thought about hanging my 250 pendant over a 20 g I have and putting a few LPS in it just so I can have a tank to look at. I have a SEIO 1100, a MJ 1200 and MJ900, but no skimmer

When I was stationed in Germany I had to go without a tank for three years. It was brutal. I am so glad I have one now even though it is only a 46. Corals are doing great right now.

$165 + shipping. I thought is was a fair price for the internal solenoid and shut off circuit.

The POSEIDON has everything that you’re looking for in a professional auto top off controller. The Poseidon has a single and a dual float sensors assembly for complete top-off coverage. The top float sensor on the dual float assembly is the high water float sensor. If your water level gets too high it will shut down the auto top off circuit and sound the alarm with flashing light.

The bottom float sensor on the dual float assembly is your top off float sensor. This activates the stainless steel solenoid to open when the water level lowers. Set this to the water level you would like to maintain. Just plug in your water source from your RO/DI or tap water with the 1/4" tubing provided. Secure the heavy duty mounting bracket.

The single float assembly is your pump protection sensor. Set this float sensor for your low water cut off. If your water level gets to low the alarm sounds, a light flashes and shuts down the 15 amp GFCI receptacle that you plug your main pumps into and it also shuts down the auto top off circuit. This will prevent your return pump from burning up. The controller will reset itself when water levels are back to normal operating levels. An Oceanus Systems Auto Top-Off unit will eliminate the need to continuously fill buckets or water jugs to replenish the water in your aquarium or pond.

Yeah, I know the feeling. 'Bout four years for me now. Got everything on hand except the tank... decided to splurge on a signature series tank from Ocean Image Aquariums and I've got another few weeks to wait yet til it gets delivered. I'm starting to seriously jones for it 8O

I still have a few things to buy and build

Buy:
Return pump
Streams w/contorller
VHO bulbs
sump
Top off container

Build:
Stand
Hood
Top off container stand
sump (I know I have it listed twice, I am going to buy a drilled glass custom tank and install the baffles as I need them)

I am stoked I get to start on the stand this weekend. I plan on ordering the sump once I get the innards of the stand built. I want the sump to be as wide as possible to slow the flow down to give any bubbles a chance to get out.
