Wouldn't you want ceramic plugs over glass simply for the ability to manipulate it? I never really read up on it. Just wondering.

When i get frags I cut them off the plug to reduce the likelyhood of hitch hikers anyway. Plus the plugs are like 4 cents.

LOL, sorry to be "that guy"... figured at least one person might see the humorous connection... guess not...

its a clip from "mommie dearest" when she spazes .. I feel the same way when anyone gives me a frag on ceramic....... sticks out like a sore thumb in a tank of all glass... ;)..... just me being a picky i guess... but for those who frag me coral, a quick reminder that i will supply the glass if you are willing to frag onto em...

Glass is also very sterile as compared to many ceramic plugs, and any hitchhikers can be easily identified due to the fact that they are clear... most any glue will stick to the glass, but they can not be trimmed unless you have a specific tool... i am in the works of creating a plug that is pre-scored so that when the time is right, you can simply snap off the nub and affix the frag within the rockwork.

oh and the cost.... well lets just say it cost a little more than 4 cents a piece to make these....

sigh

apparently i should keep my jokes to myself...

not trying to "pitch" anything aside from an idea... if you want something cool and "high class" then choose glass.... thats simply it...

FYI- thread was supposed to be for people who i gave plugs, to show them off and prove that they work....
