nudi ID??

i was looking at my tank and i found this small nudi roaming the rocks anybody know which nudi it is? I'm am almost positive its not a zoa or monti eating nudi.

i am positive it's not one of the eaters, so what should i do with it.....freedom or death? :scratchch

all the pics is found of the monti and zoa eaters have alot of those "spikey" apendeges on their back...the one i captured doesnt have those and has two wing like flaps instead. Besides i only have 3 small frags of montis which has nothing on them, and only 5 zoa frags that looks clean and growing pretty well also.

Without doing further research all I can say is I hope you're right !
I'd still pitch him anyway, no point in taking the chance that you have the first generation of a nudi mutant living in your tank.....

It looks like the algae eating type. I have some in my tank and they eat algae off of the rocks, they'll even climb up the glass and eat whatever algae is on the glass. Pretty harmless.

wow mike does look very similar, wonder where they came from :scratchch and why i haven't seen any before.

well kathy back into the tank it goes, figured when theres one theres more and chances are i wont get them all anyways, so what's one more :tongue1:

They usually come out when the lights go off, so that's probably why you didn't see them. Also the population can boom, which makes them more visible.
