SO my clam didnt look so hot this morning and I picked him up to inspect him, and he was covered in copepods and sometype of worm. He is still alive but looking puny, upon further inspection I realized my glass, rocks, EVERYTHING is covered in copepods and worms....are these bad? They look like little.....aliens....some look like gnats and others are bigger and look like rollie pollies. Theres also worms. Im wondering if these were what was killing my fish. My camera wont zoom this small. Help!!!

I've seen a population explosion of copepods in my tank twice a few months after setup. They go away after awhile. Generally no, the gnats are harmless. I think the bigger ones are amphipods and also should be harmless. Describe the worms though.

Also, how old is the tank? What setup? And how old is the clam?

It was a bristleworm, and in that link I found an exact picture of what my glass looks like, its the mixed isopods and copepods picture. It says their harmless. I wonder if it can be tied to the full moon we just had.
