Old Iphone software?

I need to reset my Iphone, but I don't want to upgrade to 3.1. There's a lot of complaints about the battery going to crap after the upgrade. For some strange reason, I'd like my battery to work all day. Go figure.

So does anyone have the 3.0 IPSW file?

you should be able to restore your phone with out updating using itunes

i'm using 3.0 firmware with the 1st generation

is push notification turned on? i notice a huge difference in my battery life when i turned it off

reload it from a backup that you should have saved. Its going to keep your old version.

By the way. the 3.2 update fixes the battery life problem a little. I can run my phone almost 2 days without charging while using it alot to text and call. It was a day and in the mornign it was pretty much dead before with 3.1.

Yesterday my phone locked up on the apple screen, both with the one finger and two finger resets. I took it into the genius bar, and they say it's a software problem (of course, it's not their problem.)

I have to wipe the phone, set it up as new, then sync. Yay for apple products.
