One of my Ai Sol's stoped working

I have 4 over my 120 and today I notice one was not on.

I purchased 2 of my Ai Sols on Jan 20 2012 from BRS
and 2 more from BRS on Apr 21,2012 (I have both receipts )

One of them just stopped working?
I tried another power supply from one of my other lights to no avail.
I then tried the power supply from the light that is not working in a working light and it did work.
Somi know it is not the power supply.

I never registered them :banghead:
I sent a email to AI........we will see.

Anyone ever have this happen to their Ai's less than a year old?

That sucks man... I heard AI's customer service is pretty good.

This has happen to me. If you are running off
one controller make sure the cable the connects
each unit is pushed in all the way

Got this response today from AI let me just say GREAT customer service.

"Thank you for the update. It appears that this is related to the motherboard in the light and needs to be switched out. If you would please provide me with your shipping address, I could have a replacement board shipped out to you right away to reinstall into the light. Please advise, thank you.

That's good news man. Hopefully the motherboard won't be too difficult to install.

Very cool, make one of your videos swapping the motherboard out for the rest of us

Got the replacement parts today and it took all of 7 minutes to replace.

Replacement parts:

Un do 4 corner screws:

Un do 3 Philips screws on mother board & remove lenses:

Remove fan cover on other side & remove 2 fan screws:

Pop old parts out, new parts in and re assemble.

That's it!
