If nobody will support Green Marine and there is not hope with the Filipino government. What is the next move? MO04? I was there for the first one and nothing came from it. The solution is not in Hawaii. I must admit it was a nice trip in a very fancy hotel.

Must have more going for it then just netcaught fish.
It must have the same or better variety then cyanide mixed fish.
It must have the same or better price structure then cyanide mixed fish.
As villages organize and fisheries decentralizes...fisherman have a chance to unionize areas where certain species are noted.
The easiest success thru this market cornering trick would be where the Bangaii cardinal lives, small clown trigger areas, cleaner shrimp and ocellaris depots and blue tang regions.
If villages could be united in general areas and 'long range invaders kept out by law...then the exclusives would put them on the map....and make people listen and behave accordingly IF they want to see more Bangaiis for example.
Retailers will only support a Green Marine if the reasons are immediate and financial, and hobbyists the retailer if the reasons are that he has stuff more cool then the others...even if they are 'green'.
No one holds it against you if your fish are netcaught...but they sure don't support you based on that fact.
Uniting to enhance negotiating position is a path to the aquisition of more justice for fisherman. They will never get what they deserve...but what they negotiate.
Offering blueface or cleaner shrimp beyond what the other guys do sure beats whining for justice based on common and ordinary fish. Prices are improved thru delivery of what customers want...not what fisherman need.
Mixing in common netcaught fish with the more coveted offerings is a way to sell the common netcaught stuff as well. Offering the common netcaught stuff alone is the kiss of death and need not ever be attempted again.
Training in the good areas is the only way to help the depleted areas so that all can be combined to make a truly Green Marine.
Then, even supporters in theory will support it in practice!

Do you know what all of them have been known for?
Hint: It begins with a 'c'...
One was even overthrown by what was known as People Power 2.
Given that in the 18 years since Marcos, the governments have all been tainted by the 'c' word, you suddenly expect change Naesco? This strikes me as overly hopeful at best.

We are not above corruption. Your President lied to Americans about weapons of mass destruction and our Prime Minister is implicated in a missing 100 million dollar scandal.
Hopefully both will get the bums rush they deserve.
