Opening a LFS in Natchitoches, LA Need INVESTORS

Hello Everyone, I am in the process of opening a new LFS in Natchitoches Louisiana, an hour south of Shreveport and an hour north of Alexandria. I am wanting to open a nice basic salt water lfs, offering Fish, Coral, and Supplies with a nice store outlay and an organized store with a knowledgable staff. Same person yes, but the person who i am going in with from out of town has been doing this for over 5 years and the market within 100 45 miles either way has no lfs anyplace.

Well there might not be much in the way of a LFS in any appreciable distance but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing since you'll need customers to fund the business, and if there is no customer base you'll be stuck with trying to get the new hobbist. Often it is better in an already established market because the customer base is there so now it becomes a matter of choice.

I bet you could generate a lot of interest in the Louisiana Reef Club: http://www.lareefclub.com/forum/portal.php

One of our local club members was an online vendor for about a year. He was very active in club participation and donations. Needless to say, his venture into a storefront has been very successful so far. I believe the support of club members played a part in that.
