I need a little help as to why my digitata might be fading in color and most of the polyps not visible. Tank parameters as follows:

CA=465
alk=3.6, dkh=10.2 aproximately
NO4=0
NO2=0
PO4=0
Mg=1290
Iodine=.06
Iodate=0
Salinity=1.025
PH=8.26
Temp=78-79
Calcium suppliment with Reactor
Reef Solution suppliment with 2 capfulls everyday
3 X 250 MH lights with 4 96watt actinics

digitata was placed mid tank, color fading and just moved him lower. The hermit crabs seem to love to crawl on this coral. All my other corals, clams and fish doing fine.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Looks fine. Maybe just bad luck?

Where is the frag from? Is it in a similar setup? Is it from local reefer?

It's from the same store I get most of my corals and fish from - Advanced Aquatics in Chicago. His salinity and water parameters are very good.

Have you been moving it around a lot? Corals often take time to feel happy in one place.

if it does appear to die.. dont throw it out. I've had digitas come back from the apparent dead!

In my limited experience these are some of the hardiest and easiest to keep sps corals
