Since the chiller doesnt seem working to me so I opened the face and check whats wrong with it, I noticed that the fan is not on at all?? I have been sitting there and watching for 20 mins, compressor is kicking in but the fan is not on. Do u know if it is the problem why its not cooling down the water? Anyone knows where I can fix it or do I need to refill the gas? How and where??

Thx.

There is usually a fuse in a chiller, you might want to check that first.
Assuming this is a used chiller - that you recently bought (?), have you ever seen it actually cool the water, or is this a recent development? Did it work for the prior owner?

Many local reefers call Keith at Cool Tanks 516-322-9737 (Nassau phone # but he doesn't live there, I think he is actually in NJ). I understand you need to drop the chiller off to him (he works in Manhattan), he does provide a rental (if you need it) and he can take a look at it for you. Or you might try a local A/C repair place near you. They are not the easiest thing to fix on your own. :(

Maybe someone here with good knowledge of these things will chime in :)
