Painting tank

So I'm gonna paint the back of my 90. I got the paint but wondering whether or not I should pain the overflow section. Or leave that unpainted. What's your thoughts.

Leave it unpainted paint like 1" past overflow on both sides

What is the best kind of paint for this application and what about just using vinyl would that start to peel off eventually?

I always use Krylon fusion spray paint. I always paint my tanks before the water goes in

rustoleum latex in black or blue its in a blue, black and white can. i use the small rollers and do about 4 - 5 coats

I was gonna use fusion spray this time. But to be honest I was considering using latex and rolling it on.
Tony does that paint hold up well. For the last two I've painted I just used spray. But to be honest if I can avoid moving this 90 around that would be great. It would be nice just to be able to paint it inside. It's not easy to find help at the very moment your ready to do things.
