Painting the back of a tank

What's the best thing to use to paint the back of tank black?

Why paint it ? You can easily remove/change a 'film' background...especially when you realize that blue is a better choice!

I prefer the spray paint and to have it a black color to accent the black trim and black stand

+1. I used adhesive vinyl...really cheap(cheaper than a can of spray paint )

does that s vinyl go on wet so you can squeegee the bubbles out?
i just ordered a 300DD and i'd hate to paint it. i have used the tape on stuff but don't like it, if you get water behind it looks terrible and hard to redue it.

You can use acrylic paint. Roll it on with a foam roller. Works like a charm. You might need 2 coats, I know I did. Spray painting wasn't an option in my dining room. :Blurp:

I tried the sticky stuff, could never get all the bubbles out.

Use window tint, worked for me and I could always peel it off if I chose to.

Used the darkest limo tint I could find and worked great.
Also used it to cover the overflow on the side.

I used black vinyl (black on both sides). There were some bubbles although I removed most by making a small slit with a razor and you can't really tell when full.

I followed the way this guy did it and I didn't have a single bubble...really isn't that hard to do
