Painting the tank

I am thinking of painting the back of my tank black. What's the best way to do it? Thanks.

Why not use car window tint fast and easy.

I got that tank background from petsmart and also used the solution to make it stay clear. Using a credit card you push the plastic against the glass and the end result is like paint. I wouldnt paint your tank if i were you because maybe sometime later you would want to take it off and have it with see through background.

I've done it with spray paint and also with a roller and paint bucket. Whatever is easier for you. It's hard to go wrong.

Painting is the only way to go. No maintenance, it looks great, and once it's done it's done.

Just painted my tank black with latex rust-oleum painter choice semi gloss. It came out great. Took 3 coats.

I had the background too and when winter came it bubbled up since the tank is in front of the baseboard. Anyway, i peeled it off and it wasnt bad with nothing and now its 90% coraline

I just ordered some Krylon fusion. I also want to paint the PVC pipes for the drain and return. Thanks for the help.
