Pentair UV/1200QuietOne Pump Issue

I recently purchased a Pentair UV sterilizer and the appropriate 1200 QuietOne recommended pump. Attached are photos of an issue where the pumps "nozzle" is bigger then the tubing which came with the UV Sterilizer, The connector on the Sterilizer is smaller. Basically the tubing fits on the UV w/o issue but is too small no matter how hard I try to put it onto the pump.
