peppermint shrimp trouble

shoot... My peppermint shrimp ate my galaxy in day 1. I spent 3 hours to move the rocks to catch him and broken some corals.

day 1 for the galaxy or day 1 for the shrimp? i just got a peppermint shrimp and so far he has left corals alone, although i HAVE heard of this happening to people. I try to target feed him so mysis and he goes buck nutty for them.

let me know... im scared for my frogspawn!

Peppermint shrimp and camel back shrimp have been known to eat corals.

Day 1 for the pepper. I also see my hammer has some damages on the edge. I don't want to take the chance. Yes, I'm sure it's pepper.

I have had a pep shrimp for about 6 months and he hasn't touched my frogspawn or any other corals to my knowledge. He does however get in my face every time i target feed my corals, and steals their food. Its actually really annoying, and if I ever catch him he's gonna be a snack for my Puffer.

I just added 3 peppermints to my tank to take care of the aiptasia problem I have. So far they are doing the job and leaving the corals alone.

i target feed the shrimp.. try that DJ orion, squirt him some mysis before you feed the corals and it should keep him busy.
