Ph high alk low

Was checking my water last night and my Ph is around 8.6 or 8.7 and my Alk has dropped down to around 7. I was always using ESV 2 part but my local guy ran out so i started using C balance 2 part for the last week. There was 4-6 when i didnt dose the tank cause i was out. (whoops). What is the best product/way to bring my ALK up without raising my ph or even lowering it a little?

Do a Water change, and bring your levels back. I guess it also depends on the salt you use.

i would not dose anything w/o testing (ca,alk,ph:low/high,mg)with a reliable test kit(i.e.lamotte,Salifert).
i would b more concern with the ca level and the low ph readings right before your lights go on.

Use regular baking soda. It will raise the Alk and lower your pH. Refer to the Randy's DIY 2 part solutions.

5/27 1:38pm When this thread was first posted i didn't know that a few weeks later i would have the same problem .I bought a ph monitor from a member and then it came to light .My ph was exceeding 8.7 and my alk was very low thanks to the members of M.F they were very helpfull and knowledgeble.

Still battling the low alk and high ph my self. I got the alk up but the ph is still high 8.8 in the morning. Will try to check it today with the MH on. I got the alk up and started normal doesing but i guess the does were not high enough cause it dropped from 11 to 4sih in 3 weeks. Got it back up around to 8.4 now and cal is at 400. I do have a large monti cap about 12x10inchs could that be the reason the alk is dropping cause its growing really fast recently. Is there anything I can do to drop the ph? Some one told me to add plants that they naturally lower the ph.
