How often should you calibrate a pH monitor?

i do mine ever 6 months, wouldn't hurt less time though, but i do have 2 in use, ac jr and pinpoint. just never took it off line.

Aand the probe needs to be replaced every 18 months or sooner. My Pinpoint unit won't calibrate any longer even with a replacement probe. Thinking about the ac jr, though I already have a temp controller.
