it maybe sucking in air from the venturi hole, You may need to cover it. The power head is creating a vortex like a bath tub where air is getting suck in. Or there maybe reminance of air in the powerhead.

It's a MaxiJet, about 2 inches below surface. It's in the middle of the tank. There's a Seio blowing water in its direction on the side of the tank. Could that somehow be contributing?

Take it out of the tank, fill up a 5 gal bucket with some really hot water. Clean out the impeller and the PH as much as you can then run it through some of that hot water in the bucket for about 30 mins. Sounds like it needs a good cleaning.

There are no microbubbles besides the one the PH spits out. And the Seios don't spit them out! I wish I could lower the MaxiJet, but in this case it's not actually possible. I'll try to clean it and see if that helps :headache: .
