PH spits out air bubbles

So, I got this power-head, completely submerged in water, which occasionally spits out a burst of air bubbles. Why would a fully submerged power-head do that?

it maybe sucking in air from the venturi hole, You may need to cover it. The power head is creating a vortex like a bath tub where air is getting suck in. Or there maybe reminance of air in the powerhead.

But the venturi hole is also covered in water. Where is the oxygen coming from?

first of all what kind of ph and how far from the surface do you have it?

It's a MaxiJet, about 2 inches below surface. It's in the middle of the tank. There's a Seio blowing water in its direction on the side of the tank. Could that somehow be contributing?

Take it out of the tank, fill up a 5 gal bucket with some really hot water. Clean out the impeller and the PH as much as you can then run it through some of that hot water in the bucket for about 30 mins. Sounds like it needs a good cleaning.

are there microbubbles in your display, besides from the one the ph spits out once in a while?

ummmmm try putting it lower then 2 inchs.... just a thought..

microbubbles u may not see. builts up in ph until big bubble then gets shoot out.

There are no microbubbles besides the one the PH spits out. And the Seios don't spit them out! I wish I could lower the MaxiJet, but in this case it's not actually possible. I'll try to clean it and see if that helps :headache: .
