hi guys i noticed ever since i got my mh and have a open tank with no glass and ever since i gotten my euro reef rs80 skimmer my evaporation is crazy . im dumping water like crazy like a gal or a little more a day. is that normal and another ? is since im dumping ro water to top off to my sump i noticed my ph is swinging and i have to add part 2 of bionc for ph so my ph could be at least 8.0. but every time i dump 1gal water in my tank my ph drops like crazy. what can i do.?

Don't put in the full gallon at once. Do it in small doses over the day.

How bigs the tank, is the MH in a hood, is it vented?

i guess me dumping it all at once is a problem , i will dump little by little.
mh is vented.

how big is the tank? u still shouldn;t be getting a big PH swing with 1 gallon added to like 50+ gallons.
