Phos Reactor on 28gal NC HQI

I have a NC HQI 28gal, the rock in the tank was removed from another tank that had high phosphates. I use RO/DI water, i also enjoy feeding my fish.... i have a TLF Phosban reactor and i was wondering if anyone has used then before on a similar setup. if so, will a MJ400 fit in one of the rear chambers?

My friend has a NC HQI with a phosban reactor. He bought the extension kit with the extra elbow and set it so it returns through the left side of the return. I believe he uses a MJ606.
