Phosphate reducing media: How long before changing media

Hey Im currently running a reactor with Kent phosphate reducing media, and it says that I should run at the most 2 days or it will leak phosphates back in the water.

Do most people run periodically or just change frequently?

Maybe a different media will not leak out and save me the extra work and money, if so any suggestions

Rowaphos and Phosban as well as most bulk GFO phosphate removers are not supposed to leach back. If the kent stuff says it will leach back then I see no reason not to belive it and would change accordingly

I think I should change to rowaphos or phosban so I wont have to change every 2 days
