Photoshop question

I would like to standardize 100 digital photographs for exposure and size so that differences in size, brightness, and hue/saturation are real and not photographic artifacts.

Then, I would like to highlight an area of each image and measure area, brightness, and hue/saturation of that area.

Basically I'm comparing the coloration and areal cover of colored areas among 100 different animals, photographed with a digital camera.

Anyone know how to do this?

Hmmm. I think you might want to ask on photo.net or maybe dpreview (though the former would probably be better). I don't know how to do this automatically, though you can do at least some of what you want manually. I'm also not sure how to "standardize" all the photos to remove camera settings and artifacts except if the photos were all shot in very controlled settings. I actually can't think of a way to do this in post process.

I'm thinking it's only going to be even remotely possible if all the photos were shot in RAW.
