I always felt Montis lose to acros but in this case this little hawkins frag has a rainbow monti on one side and a Majano on the other side. I gotta get in there and nuke the majanos and aiptasias again. Its just a PITA.

You make me want to fix my tank :P Mine is a SPS death chamber. That rainbow monti is pretty!

BTW, if those corals are more than a foot into the tank, it's really really hard to get a non-hazy shot. It's not just you.

I thought it was a nice picture, better than I've been taking since I changed tanks and lighting (sigh).

Thanks Len, yeah they are pretty much in the back of the 3' width. The funny thing about the rainbow monti, I got it from someone on RC that had both rainbows and supermans. I got the rainbow and in my old tank it always stayed red polyps/blue background. When I moved things over to the new tank it took on the expected look for a rainbow monti. Must have been a lighting issue.

I really just havent bonded with my Nikon my old canon just made things easier for me and its been a different experience for me with this nikon. I duuno, thanks for the compliment though!

Heres a FTS taken from the side. I still have a long way to go to get it right. You can see I am still getting diatoms in the sand and I am just not liking going back to sand, I have a feeling in the future this tank will be BB lol. You can also see the bleached acans from when they were in my sons tank and his chiller failed. I had frags of most of them in my tank still and since the angel has decided to leave them alone again I am leaving them recoup in my tank probably for good. I placed the frags close to some of the bleached ones, touching, hoping it helps retransfer some zooxanthellea back over. I might be crazy but w/e it cant hurt either. Some you cant see since I placed some of the smaller ones in better shaded areas.

I love my pearlberry of all the LE releases ORA did I liked this one the best, the color is just great on it. I just wish it would encrust better, everytime I bump it working in the tank it needs to get reglued.
