Pin point monitors

As of right now I own none of these but would like to get at least a tds meter maybe others

What is the best brand for the best price do cheap ones work?
What's the deal with the probes and solution how do they work?
What monitors would u guys say are must haves ???

all my monitors are by american marine pinpoint. never had any problems. and customer service is great.

yea if you leave them on. only one i dont leave on is tha calcium

The solution is used to calibrate the probe. The probe then sits in the tank our sump to monitor the levels. I run 2 ph probes. One for my ca reactor and the other for my tank. But I'm looking to add a ca probe.

Who leave these displaying at all times ?? How often do u need to change solution and probe?? Do they make on that measures all th leval

i leave my ph, ph controller, and temp on constant....calcium only turn on when im testing water..ph probe needs to be calibrated at least every couple of months just to stay accurate...
