Pinpoint Termometer

Has anyone had any problems with these? It appears as though mine is reading the temperature ~5 degrees higher then the actual temp of the water. Is there anyway to recalibrate it?

how do u know it's reading 5 degrees higher? what are u comparing the temp to?

I am comparing it to the strip thermometer stuck on the side of my tank and another digital heater that I used for a test.

You can't rely on those strip thermometers those are garbage! I have the pinpoint wireless thermometer and it matches my reefkeeper itemp and an old school floating glass thermometer.

Pinpoint is as accurate as it gets.Try fresh batteries.
