plumbing for my sump

Hey guys i just got my sump and was just wondering about the plumbing
what do you guys use to connect the pvc piping cause the regular glue cannot be used please anyone's help will be appreciated.

PVC solvent, it's a two part mixture. The first is primer (often comes in purple but can be clear as well) the second is the solvent that solves (welds) them together. They sell them together as a pack with instructions. There are also many links online for how to solve pvc together. Make sure you do it in a well ventilated area as it isn't a glue. You're melting plastic and allowing it to cure back together as one piece. That produces some seriously nasty fumes. PVC is also a pretty toxic material and it would be wise to head the warnings on the package.

just use pvc cement. Any hardware store has it.

hey thank's guys cause i just went to home depot and asked for the weldon 40 and he looked at me like i was speaking hindi.

You dont want weldon. That is mostly for acrylic. YOu want PVC Glue, in any hardware store. Get the clear cleaner and then teh adhesive.
