Pod Growth

My 24 gallon has thousands of tiny tiny copepods and stars that are all over the place. They are very very tiny i can barely make them out but they are moving and all over the place in daylight there are millions. how long before they grow into maximum size pods. i assume they are tiger pods. Also what eats detritus? I have pockets of them in my 75 gallon tank and i put in tiger tail cuke i was wondering what else would eat it.

Mandarins eat tigger pods.Are they tiny red ones?

i cant see any color they are too tiny. There are basically trillions of these microscopic bugs.

Pods are a good thing to have.Like I said,a Mandarin would have a field day on those buggers but would need more when they eat them all.For the detritus,get nassarius snails,hermits.A cuke too.

i know pods are good. Im asking how long it will be until they are fully grown. There are no predators in the tank. Just pods and chaeto. I have a tiger tail cuke. Do nassaurius actually eat detritus? or do they eat left over food that turns into detritus?

Those might be fully grown, depending on what type they are. Different types of pods, reach different sizes
