posting pictures to thread

Hi Everyone,

Can someone walk me through this dumb question of posting pics to a thread? My camera takes somewhat large pics (10mp) camera which makes 2-3mb pictures in jpg format. I tried uploading the pics to Photobucket and copying the link to MR but when uploading - it says the file is too large.

I tried resizing and saving the pic in Photobucket but still get teh same error. Anyone know how to go around this? I'm a noob :wink1:

right click on the pic on your computer, look for open with and choose paint. The picture will open up in a paint format program. Go to image and select stretch/skew where it say's Stretch Horizontal 100% change it to 25% and change Stretch Verticle to 25% also. DO NOT CHANGE THE SKEW.
Then go to File and then Save and exit out. Your image should now be resized. Now save that image to photobucket, and copy the direct link and post it here. Have fun!!!! You'll get the hang of it!!!

If you upload them to photo bucket then just copy the link under the pic that starts with

into the thread.

I'm still new to taking photos. I'm using a Sony H50 camera, still trying to figure out the features.
