Potassium Inhibition of Cyanobacteria?

I came across a study which showed potassium sulfate inhibits freshwater cyanobacteria growth roughly at the concentration found in sea water. Some time ago Duke62 did a water parameter survey and some reefers measured their potassium levels.

So, I have to ask, anyone seeing decrease in cyano when they dose potassium?
