So real quick, I was never good with math and I am hoping one of you can lend me a helping hand. I am using an "Elos" KH test kit and arriving at a reading of 7dkh. With that I am using a Salfert CA test kit and getting 379ppm on that test.
My buffers are Seachem and they use a different measurement which is confusing me to an extent. My question is as follows!
If
-each 1/2TSP (teaspoon) of ALK buffer will raise my Alk by .025 meql
And
-each 1 TSP of CA buffer will raise my CA by .12 meql!
How much buffer do I need to added once a week, or how many dkh = meql and how manny ppm = meql. I use Bionic throughout the week, but would like to help the levels get back to a better starting poing on my Sunday tank Day.
Much Appreciation,
J.
