Proaquarium and ballasts from Shanghai

I see Proaquarium http://myworld.ebay.com/proquarium/, has some really good prices on T-5 lighting system ($250 for eight 36" bulbs, 2 electronic ballasts, and an 8 bulb fixture with reflectors). Proaquarium says the electronic ballast manufacturer is Shanghai Uni-Aqua, and the bulbs are from CNLights. Has anyone had experience with this lighting system?

No experience, but I'd be worried about warranty and service. For a little more, you can buy established brands like Current USA from reputable vendors like Marine Depot or Premium Aquatics.

Thanks for the feedback. Haven't decided yet. The USA setups are nicely priced.

Where lighting is concerned (that much electricity+salt water) it really doesn't pay to cut corners. I've heard too many horror stories about off brand lights malfunctioning.
