Problem with fish and Candy Cane Coral

Is it normal for Fish to make the Candy Cane Coral as bed ? I got a small Candy Cane Frag with 4 heads, and my Small Porcupine 1.5" make the Candy Cane as his bed during nap or sleep time. He just swim to the top and lay himself down on the coral.. I think my Coral doesn't like it and closed up all the time because of the Porcupine disturbing it. That fish leave all the Coral alone and only interested getting stuff from the sandbed or floating food.. trainned him. I don't want to make the cute Porcupine upset.. how I prevent the fish sleep on the Coral

If the fish keeps disturbing the coral and you see it having negative effects you could try a plastic basket or something over the coral to keep him away from it.
