Protein Skimmer turning off issues

Hi All,

I've been on this site in the past and desided to get back on last week. I'm having issues with my CAD light protein skimmer TIA 1220, it goes on and off. Sounds like the propeller is jamming from time to time. I would like to clean it out but I can't figure it out how to disassemble it. I've seen some videos on you tube but it not the one I have. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help.

run it in a mixture of vinegar and water. That will help loosen everything up for when you figure out how to disassemble it (if you can). I've never used that brand skimmer so I cant really be much more help that this.

Thank you. I did just that and it still kept locked up. The original pump was done. By the end of the day I took the skimmer to a friend and he costomized it by changing the pump. Hope that it continues working.
