Protein skimmer

Confused need to by a protein skimmer for a 40 gallon breeder tank I'm setting up but I want it to Be overkill for a future 90 gallon build,I'm in between the the reef octopus rated for 150 gallon or a
SWC also rated for the same any suggestions? Does anybody recommend another brand looking to stay in the $200-300 dollar area thanks

Check out the bubble magnus na series. They are great bang for the buck skimmers. They also have a small footprint. I think the na6 would be a good fit

I would go reef octo over the other 2 skimmers. Mainly because of the atman pumps used on the swc and bubble magus. The na6 is an older model that is outdated.
