Protein Skimmer

I need a new skimmer, not in a rush just want an up grade
footing has to be less then 8 by 8 inches so that it can go in the sump Custom king built for me.

Needs to be adequate for a 150 gallon reef tank with heavy feeding. I am OK with oversized but not undersized as an option.

You will not find what you're looking for because it doesn't exist. It takes a BIG skimmer to handle a 150gal with heavy feeding.

Hello. Please measure your skimmer space. I believe that skimmer compartment is 9 1/2" x 12" and not 8" x 8". He originally had a CoraLife 220 needlewheel skimmer which fit the skimmer section but he had to return it because of his stand's height. He needs a skimmer whose height is 22" or lower.

I will probably be chastised again. Depending on what you intend to keep, how about the HOB Turboflotor 1000 Multi w/Oceanrunner PH2400? That is the skimmer I have in my 155g BF, but I do w/c bi-weekly, and I keep softies, lps, couple caps with a heavy bioload.
