Hey every reefer here! I just realize that my pulsating xenia colony starts dying since yesterday, they're getting shorter and darker and start melting away. I have checked my water all in the range. Just did a 20% water change this morning, seen no help anything at all. Anybody got ideas abiut what happens and how i can do to save those poor guys? Thanks guys!

This was a mystery for me. At first they all died out, they were the most difficult thing to grow. Then after about 6 months they reappeared back from a few stalks and took over. I recalled reading that they like iodine? I used to does this, not for the xenias, but mostly for the shrimps, crabs, and corals. Once I found out that the xenias liked iodine, I stopped dosing it, but then it was too late...they took over and started growing on the sand bed, the back glass of the tank, and pretty much everywhere else, even on other frags.
