I use a cheap device called a Killowatt, to determine the true wattage that my equipment uses. You can get them for around 20 bucks on ebay. Pretty cool device, I have been testing everything in my house. (Yes, I am a geek)

Iwaki dosen't publish the watts used. But I remember someone on RC used a Killowatt on a 55 RLT and got around 190 watts (I ran 3 55s on my 125). I replaced a dead Iwaki with a Panworld. It's a very nice pump, quieter cheaper and uses less watts than the Iwaki. When or should I say if the other 2 Iwakis die I'll replace them with Panworlds. They've been going for 13 years so we'll see.

Thanks Russ how'ya feeling?
been banged up for a while winter was kind to me
been busy helping my son with his embroidery business

stop over for a cold one!

Hope your sons business is thriving. I know it could be tough in an economy like this one. Best of luck with it.

Since we last spoke I've had to have another spinal fusion. Thanks for asking. Just started PT this past week. They put me through a different kind of pain :irked:

Glad to hear your pains were not too bad this winter.

The brewski sounds good. A nice  /percocet cocktail should put me just about right (read Karen Ann Quinlan).
