Yes but you really should let it cure 24 hours letting water flow to any live stock.

Russ the reaction from the primer and glue actually goes on for hours, but im sure it is pretty safe.

Been using it for 10 years this way. Many setups all around the tri-state area. Totally safe, regardless of the curing time.

its the same for silicone.. its safe to put in water after an hour but the curing takes place for almost 48 hours after.. but remeber the primer and glue are on the mated surfaced of the pipes and not so much on the areas where the water flows thruexcept for the excess but thats minor!
