pvc rock stand

Hi!

I am going to make a pvc stand for the live rock.
Should I glue the pvc parts together if it is going in the tank or
should I just connect them without the glue?

you should be able to put it together without the glue.1/2 of the rock in my tank are stacked on 1/2 pvc,with a tee fitting on the bottom.

You can just couple them together. Later on if you decide to change something all you need to do is rotate or add/remove the piece. Here's what i did with mine. Slab rocks is perfect for what you want to do. Then just cover the pipes with rocks.

Here's an idea that i thought about but it was too late. You can epoxy coat the pvc and then add sand to them. That will make them look like rocks and help blend in easily. If i had to do it again, that's what i would do. Good luck!

i got my idea from you P.i thought it was a great idea.actually i413tryjytr1ts the left side thats stacked on pvc.i got lazy on the right side.

Looks freaking good D, i can't even see it. Also if you want you can use the pipes to provide flow as well.

yup, the left side looks gr8. n the idea with diverse flow makes it even better. 2 uses with 1 idea.

I drilled holes in my pvc and live rock, and then stringtied the rock to the pvc.. But u can always cut the stringties.
