Has anyone ever had an issue where q-tip sponges have killed a coral? I will post a picture this afternoon. Currently everyone in the tank is happy, but I have notices some q-tip growth that is more than normal. Advice on q-tip removal or care?

Q tip sponge - also known as a Pineapple sponge is a harmless filter feeder. If you are getting a lot of them you may want to add a filter sock as it means you have a wide amount of food available in the water column. Otherwise, they are fine to have in your tank.
They will not harm corals

Yeah I had that same problem but now it's just in the sump... They might be "okay" for the aquarium but they are not attractive to have all over your tank glass lol. I got these, psycho hermits crabs that ate most of them from my display. So they are only in the sump now .....
