QT from the main tank

Well since i pretty much have no corals and 0 acropora left in my main so i am looking to figure out how to set up a QT which is attached to the main tank. Is there any way to do it without introducing pests into the main say a fine mesh bag in the filter sock or any other way. I made a QT for my corals in the basement but no corals survived and really to much of a pain in the arss for me. I dont have the strength to do water changes in 2 tanks so i need to find a easier way for me

duke honestly the only way is to have a COMPLETELY separate system. parasites and whatnot can still flow though filter socks :arg: make sure the QT system is seperate and you should be fine
